Hey there, mini-makers!

This week, I have to admit—no new blog post. 😲 I know, I know! But before you think I’ve vanished into the abyss of unfinished projects (well yeah, kind of though), let me explain…

-First off:

I’ve been knee-deep in crafting/overthinking/experimenting (a.k.a. making a glorious mess) with new printables for my Etsy store!

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with miniature book covers—starting with fairy tales books. You can check them out here:

-But that’s not all.

I’ve also been kitbashing two DIY miniature kits that I assembled ages ago.

I have taken them apart ( who knew I would like to "destroy" them haha) , and Frankenstein-ing (that’s a word, right?) them into one larger model.

If you’ve been around for a while, you might remember:

I kept lots of the tiny furniture, mini glasses, and even the walls, but I am transforming them into something completely new!

I added pieces of architectural paper, and divided the spaces.

The larg part will turn into a cozy pub (with a piano) and the small part on the left into a tiny toilet room, and I even bought a 3D-printed 1:24 scale toilet on Etsy:

I’ve spray-painted doors, lamps, and other bits in a fancy gold color (my gosh, what a mess so far), and I’m adding wallpaper from my own store with a black and gold Art Deco design:

What will the pub’s official name be? The Golden Years—because, well, David Bowie. I was a huge fan back in the day lol. Can you see where I’m heading with this project?

Black and gold all over! Just thinking about it is so much part of the fun, right?! When finished, off course there will be the final blog post!
