Hi there!
No shiny new blog post this week — I’ve been knee-deep in updating older ones on the site (not glamorous, but it needs to be done!).
While doing that, I realized I’ve never really told the full story of how I got into miniatures. So, this week I thought I’d share it with you. (thanks if you are sticking out this one hahaha!)
It all started back when I was a teenager — sitting at my parents' kitchen table, building cardboard dollhouses
in the way of their homemade meals 😂
No DIY kits, no internet, just imagination and the kind of glue that stuck to everything except what you needed.
No smartphone photos back then (thankfully?),
so I can’t show you what those early builds looked like. But I was hooked.
Then life happened — work, other hobbies — until I got chronically ill at a pretty young age.
Suddenly, I had way too much time
on my hands, and my old passion came back. Miniatures gave me a way to focus on something positive and creative, even on the tough days.
